Hotusa Hotels has reached the figure of 11 partner hotels in Shanghai, the financial capital of China, after adding 8 new establishments to its portfolio in the first quarter of 2011. The company thus reinforces its position as one of the leading hotel consortia internationally, offering a wide range of services which, as demonstrated by the upswing in new additions, is of particular interest to independent hotels in today's economic juncture.

The 11 hotels in Shanghai are all high-quality establishments (three 5-star and eight 4-star hotels) and were chosen specifically to meet the needs of European corporate travellers. Their addition to the Hotusa Hotels portfolio enables the hotels to forge a strategic alliance with one of the leading hotel consortia in the world and to achieve a global presence, especially in the large outgoing markets from Europe and Latin America.

The company has added two of the new hotels to its Style Trendy & Elegant Hotels brand, namely the The Langham Yangtze Boutique Shanghai and the Broadway Mansions Hotel. The Style brand specialises in representing emblematic hotels with style which have a certain plus that turns them into ideal venues for new experiences. In this case, the hotels stand out for their particular design, their privileged located in the heart of the city and their spectacular views of Shanghai.
