 Canada Battling New Tariffs on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights

New Music Tariffs in Canada Could Spell New Tariffs for Lodging Industry Worldwide
Both SOCAN (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers) and a new body, "the Neighbouring Rights Collective of Canada," have proposed additional tariffs on pay-per-view and music in bedrooms as well as background music in public areas including restaurants. This is an alert message to all IH&RA members - New tariffs like these could be introduced in countries all over the world.
