INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF TOUR OPERATORS - IFTO
The IFTO is the international trade association representing the tour operator associations of most of the European countries and Turkey.

To ensure the continued long-term success of the organised holiday by influencing opinion formers, legislators and civil servants in the EU and in originating and destination countries on the benefits of organised holidays.

Background IFTO was set up in 1970 by a group of established tour operators in the UK and Scandinavia.

Structure Head quartered at the FTO offices in Lewes, Sussex, UK.
Current Officers: President, 3 Vice-Presidents and a Director-General.

- To focus on areas of particular concern & interest to the industry, government (originating, EU & destinations) & consumers
